Her film credits include It’s a Disaster, Bill & Ted Face the Music, and A Christmas Story Christmas.
Samantha Irby is a humorist, essayist, and television writer, whose best-selling collections include Meaty; We Are Never Meeting in Real Life; Wow, No Thank You, winner of the Lambda Literary Award; and most recently, Quietly Hostile. Irby is currently a writer and co-producer of And Just Like That… on HBO.
Victoria Lancelotta is the author of the story collections Ways to Disappear and Here in the World and the novels Far and Coeurs Blesses. Karah Preiss is the co-founder of Belletrist and an executive producer for Belletrist Productions. In 2022, Belletrist Productions produced the streaming series First Kill and Tell Me Lies. Preiss’s work has been featured in HuffPost and Publishers Weekly, among other publications.
Emma Roberts is an acclaimed actress, executive producer, and co-founder of Belletrist Book Club alongside Karah Preiss. Under their Belletrist TV production banner, Emma served as a co-executive producer on the critically acclaimed series Tell Me Lies. On the small screen, she is recognized for her starring roles in Scream Queens and multiple seasons of the anthology horror series American Horror Story, and her silver screen credits including We’re the Millers, Holidate, and Madame Web.
Jen Spyra is a former staff writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Onion. Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, McSweeney’s, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Beast, and elsewhere. Spyra’s debut short story collection, Big Time, was published in 2021.
Meg Wolitzer is the New York Times bestselling author of The Female Persuasion, The Interestings, The Ten-Year Nap, and The Wife, which was adapted to film in 2018, starring Glenn Close and Jonathan Pryce. She was the guest editor of The Best American Short Stories 2017, and has also published books for young readers, mostly recently a picture book, Millions of Maxes. Wolitzer is a faculty member in the MFA program at Stony Brook Southampton, where she co-founded and co-directs BookEnds, a one-year, non-credit intensive in the novel.
