Squirrel Nut Zippers is an American swing and jazz band formed in 1993 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Tonight's rollicking and rowdy Christmas Caravan show combines their unique hybrid stew of Southern roots rock, New Orleans Jazz, and Blues influences with Christmas-themed music through a Vaudeville stage performance that is as tantalizing as the music itself. Tonight's evening also includes songs which span their eight-album catalog, including their pivotal records Hot (Certified Platinum, 1987), Perennial (Debuted at #18 on the Billboard Album Charts, 1998), and Beasts Of Burgundy (Debuted at #4 on the Billboard Jazz Albums Chart, 2018). Join Founder, Frontman, and Guitarist Jimbo Mathus and his all-star band as they travel through musical eras, genres, and boundaries to a destination known as the Squirrel Nut Zippers. Enjoy the ride!
