The Roger Rees Awards Showcase

The Broadway Education Alliance and Disney Theatrical Group are proud to present the 15th Annual Roger Rees Awards Showcase celebrating excellence in student performance! As Greater New York City’s high school musical theater awards program, the Roger Rees Awards spotlight the next generation of theater creators.
Come cheer on the students being honored for their dedication to the arts. Enjoy ensemble musical numbers featuring the nominees for the Outstanding Performer Award accompanied by the all-student pit orchestra selected for the New York City Center Orchestra Award, as well as a performance by the Harmony Helper Choral Award winners and solos from the finalists vying for the Outstanding Performer Award. Plus, students across various categories will be recognized for their commitment to the arts both on and off the stage.
The evening will culminate with the announcement of the Outstanding Performer Award winners who are selected by a distinguished panel of Broadway industry judges. These two students will represent The Roger Rees Awards and the Greater New York City region at the National High School Musical Theater Awards® (the Jimmy Awards®).
