The 39th Annual John Lennon Tribute

Theatre Within, in association with Music Without Borders, presents the 39th Annual John Lennon Tribute charity concert. A New York City tradition since 1981, the Tribute joyously celebrates John Lennon’s life, music and timeless message of peace and love.

This year's Tribute features Natalie Merchant, who will receive the 2019 "John Lennon Real Love Award" in recognition of her luminous artistic achievements and lifelong commitment to social activism and charitable causes.

Ms. Merchant, who will play a set of her favorite John Lennon and Beatles classics, will be joined by a diverse and immensely talented line-up of artists: Joan Osborne, Rachael Yamagata, Willie Nile, Sam Amidon, Bobby Harden, Nicki Richards, Mark Rivera, The Kennedys, Raye Zaragoza and Music Director Rich Pagano. Proceeds from the Tribute will benefit Theatre Within's ongoing free workshops — in songwriting, art, meditation and more — at Gilda’s Club NYC for children and adults impacted by cancer. For more details, visit LennonTribute.org.
