About the Orchestras
The ISO at Third Street ensemble program is the largest youth ensemble program in New York City. They feature New York City's finest young musicians from all five boroughs, Westchester, and New Jersey.
As the nation’s longest-running community music school, Third Street Music School Settlement has been transforming lives through the arts for 128 years. Today, Third Street serves 5,000+ students annually, enriching their lives and communities. Inspired by our roots in the settlement movement, and by our fundamental belief that arts education is a right, not a privilege, over 75% of Third Street's students receive financial assistance or participate in tuition free and highly-subsidized programs
