Heart to Heart Concert - "Healthy Praise for Healthy Hearts"
We’re back and ready to “Raise the Praise!” Labor of Love Association hosts Heart to Heart Concert – New York’s Premiere Event for Authentic Traditional/Contemporary Gospel Music!
The Heart to Heart Concert is devoted to uplifting hearts with praise while promoting healthy heart awareness. Many experts now believe that a positive attitude is a very important part of staying healthy. And what better way to begin a positive outlook on life than uplifting spirits with inspiring songs that uplift the soul!
This year Heart to Heart presents, “The Sounds of Gospel!” Join us as we celebrate the origins of Gospel, one of the most prolific genres of American music!
Don’t miss this evening that will take you on a journey through the phases of Gospel from the early days of “call and response” to the energizing sounds of contemporary Gospel music.
The Labor of Love Ensemble will once again don the stage singing songs of praise joined by a VIP line-up that includes songs of restoration from Reverend Vandell Atkins; down-home Gospel guitar playing from Elder George Heyward, heart stirring worship and praise from Mins. Joseph Ellis and Bro. Alson Farley, Jr. and Bro. Henry Mitchell playing skillfully on the Hammond organ.
It will be a night like no other as Gospel resonates throughout the theater to show you exactly why the Sounds of Gospel is like no other!
Be there and lift your voice in healthy praise for healthy hearts!
Portions of the proceeds (25% of net income) go to aid The American Heart Association. Presented by The Labor of Love Association, Inc
