Sein Debütroman "Sonne und Beton“ wurde verfilmt und ebenfalls im Jahr 2023 veröffentlicht. Der Film erreichte 1 Millionen Kinobesucher und zahlreiche Preise, u.a. den deutschen Filmpreis.
