Korean-born American pianist Min Kwon performs selections from her America/Beautiful project, in which she commissioned diverse group of more than 70 American composers to write a variation on “America the Beautiful.” Kwon excels in a versatile career that encompasses concerti, solo recitals, and chamber music appearances, while in high demand around the world as pedagogue, arts advocate, and administrator.

The composer and conductor Victoria Bond founded Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival in 1998, inspired by Pierre Boulez's contemporary music series, "Perspective Encounters."
