Description
The critic, television writer, and podcast host presents his raucous and nostalgic essay collection, a pop culture manifesto for the modern age. Part memoir, part criticism, Pure Innocent Fun brings us on an adventure through the cultural moments of the 90’s and 2000’s that guided Madison's coming of age as a Black gay man in Milwaukee (think Clueless, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Jennifer Hudson losing American Idol).
