Friends and admirers gather to celebrate the milestone with readings, conversation, and music from Toshi Reagon featuring tap dancer Asha DaHomey, AKA Asha Griffith. In conversation with Roxane Gay. With readings from Brown Girl Dreaming by Marley Dias (Founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks), Tony Award nominee Montego Glover, Nicole Ari Parker, and Lena Waithe.
