Rodrigo Nassif is regarded as a national reference of Brazilian contemporary instrumental music today. He has won several prizes and often plays the best stages of the country, such as Sesc Pompeia, São Paulo; Blue Note Rio de Janeiro, etc.

His mix of Latin American styles, such as tango-milonga, chamame, with Brazilian guitar school is well known by the Brazilian audiences.
