How To Buy Tickets

We look forward to seeing you at Symphony Space. Below you’ll find answers to frequently asked ticketing questions, and if you still need help, we will happily assist. Please e-mail our Box Office should you have any questions.

Purchasing tickets

Phone: Our Box Office phone number is 212.864.5400. The Box Office phone line is open Tuesday-Saturday from 2pm-6pm ET.

In Person: Tickets may be purchased at our Box Office, located in our lobby starting at 3PM ONLY on days where there is a performance. The Box Office closes one half-hour after any event begins.

Please note that the Box Office is CLOSED on days when there are no performances or events on our stages. You can leave us a voicemail or email us at [email protected] and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

Please note that there is a $5.00 service fee on all tickets.

Ticket Delivery

Tickets will be delivered via e-mail and text message.

E-Ticket(s) will be delivered to you moments after your purchase. You will be e-mailed a PDF which contains your ticket(s) and a QR code, which will be scanned at the theater upon entry. Please feel free to print these tickets in advance of your arrival, or have them ready to present on your mobile device at Symphony Space. Tickets by text message: On the day of the event, tickets will be sent via text message to all patrons with a valid mobile phone number on file. The tickets will include a QR code, which can be scanned at the theater upon entry. To add your mobile phone number to your account, click here.

Bringing Children to an Event

Masks are encouraged and appreciated, but not mandatory, for most events at Symphony Space.

Proof of full vaccination and/or masks are required for certain events. Be sure to check the individual event pages for all shows you plan to attend.

Group Discounts

For many events, discounts are available for groups of fifteen people or more. To inquire about group tickets, please email [email protected].

Please note that seats for group sales will not be reserved until payment is received. The group contact person will be responsible for e-ticket distribution. We look forward to welcoming you and your group to Symphony Space.

Holding Seats

Seats cannot be held without payment. All sales are final.

Late Arrival:

Purchasing tickets guarantees seats will be held and guarantees admission as the performance allows. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. Reserved seat locations are not guaranteed past curtain time.

Cancellations and Refunds

If a show is cancelled, the Box Office will contact you to process your refund.

Illness
If you are showing any signs of illness, please do not come to the theater. If you have been exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 10 days, please wear a face mask.

Weather
If a show is not cancelled due to weather, no refunds or exchanges will be issued. In the case of severe weather, e-mail the Box Office for more information regarding a possible cancellation.

Performers
All artists are subject to change. If a performer withdraws from a performance and is replaced with another performer, no refunds will be given.
