Fees must be paid-in-full a minimum of one month prior to theatre use, or as noted in your Agreement.

Friday - Monday
Not-For-Profit $3,583 per day, one show per day
Standard $4,452 per day, one show per day
2-show day, or 1 show exceeding 3 hours from scheduled curtain $600 additional
Tuesday - Thursday
Not-For-Profit $2,977 per day, one show per day
Standard $3,729 per day, one show per day
2-show day, or 1 show exceeding 3 hours from scheduled curtain $500 additional
Weekly
Not-For-Profit $15,710 for six consecutive days
Standard $19,478 for six consecutive days
2-show day, or 1 show exceeding 3 hours from scheduled curtain $500 additional
Additional Rehearsal Use, Tues-Fri only, pending theatre availability $550 per 4.5 hours

Symphony Space provides and producer must use ONLY theatre’s Box Office service (no off-site sales), Front of House staff and Technical Advisor. If sound system and/or projection is required, producer MUST use theatre’s contracted services and may not bring in their own sound system or projectionist. Theatre does not provide stage crew. Producer must provide sufficient staff to load-in, set-up, focus & restore light plot, and to sell Producer’s merchandise (no producer refreshment sales allowed).

Ancillary Fees
Tier 1 Sound included in rental rate: one microphone on stand, which user may turn on and off as necessary
Tier 2 Sound - all services beyond Tier 1: Engineer for up to 8 hrs, including 1 hr break
-CD and other sound playback requires Tier 2 Sound.
-If sound is required, producer MUST use theatre's sound system.

Box Office stays open one half hour past scheduled curtain time on day of show.
Additional Box Office beyond scheduled closing time $50 per half hour

Consumer Fees
Facility Fee included in producer-established ticket price, on sales from theatre box office and producer consignment $1
Handling Fee added to ticket order total on all phone, mail and fax orders $2.50 per ticket
Internet Fees Handling Fee $2.50
Convenience Fee charged by tickets.com, based on ticket price $1.75, $2.75, $3.75, $4.75 or $5.75 per ticket

Penalty Charges
Show exceeding 3 hours from scheduled curtain time $600 or $500 (see rates above)
Failure to load-out or strike by contracted time $175 per half hour or part thereof
Failure to notify theater on cancellation of scheduled intermission no later than 72 hours prior to show

Cleaning Fee for failure to restore stage & backstage area to “as is” condition $75 min.
Returned Check Charge $35
Late Payment Fee for failure to comply with agreement payment schedule $10 per day
Security Deposit forfeited for failure to comply with theatre’s No Smoking rule
  • Theatre determines hours of use. Earliest load-in: 9:30am. Latest load-out: 12 midnight.
  • The rates and ancillary fees do not apply to “special” and/or “unusual” use of Theatre including, but not limited to Film/Video/Photo Shoots, Fashion Shows/Pageants and the like, which are subject to separate negotiation.
