Basic Information
Symphony Space is happy to take care of all your ticketing needs. Our full-service computerized box office is open for Phone Sales (212.864.5400) Tues-Sun from 11am to 7pm and for window sales from 12 noon to 7pm. On the day of your show, our box office windows will stay open until one half hour after your scheduled curtain time. We also take sales by mail and FAX (212.864.4551), and tickets are available 24 hours a day on our website, www.symphonyspace.org. Tickets may not be sold through any other website. In all of your marketing pieces, please direct your buyers to purchase tickets via our phone lines and our website. Please read the following rules and guidelines very carefully and advise those involved in your production of their deadlines.

All ticketing set-up for your show, including pricing and changes, will be handled by Jeff Goad, Booking Associate & Associate Box Office Manager. He can be contacted at the booking email address listed above. For ticket sales updates and all correspondence regarding comps and ticket handling on the day of your show, please phone the box office at 212.864.5400 and ask to speak with the Manager on Duty.

Customer Fees
Our box office accepts cash and credit cards (American Express, MasterCard and Visa) as payment for tickets. Customers purchasing tickets via phone, mail or fax pay a $2.25 handling fee per ticket. Customers ordering tickets via the internet are charged a $2.50 handling fee plus a Tickets.com Convenience Fee per ticket based on the price of the ticket.

Facility Fee
All advertised prices must include Symphony Space’s $1 Facility Fee. Complimentary tickets are not subject to this fee.

Holds
If you need seats to be held for subscription orders, media, etc., or if any seats will be displaced by equipment, etc., you must notify the box office using your Rental Application PRIOR TO PUTTING YOUR SHOW ON SALE. Once tickets have been sold, there can be no changes in seating availability. Please note that any Video Taping of the performance WILL displace seats.

Theatre House Seats
Symphony Space reserves the use of 14 TICKETS in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre and 6 TICKETS in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia. These will be released for general sale on the day of show if they are not used. Symphony Space is also required by law to hold back a certain number of WHEELCHAIR LOCATIONS which will be released for general sale on a progressive basis if they are not used.

Pricing Discounts
If you are offering any discount to members of an organization, you must notify the box office using your Rental Application PRIOR TO PUTTING YOUR SHOW ON SALE.

Complimentary Tickets
If you will be presenting a typed alphabetical (by last name) Complimentary Ticket List to the box office, this must be done NO LATER than THREE HOURS PRIOR TO CURTAIN. If your list has more than 100 names on it, the box office must have it NO LATER than 24 HOURS PRIOR TO CURTAIN.

Day of Show
You must have a designated TICKET REPRESENTATIVE stationed in close proximity to the box office beginning NO LATER than TWO HOURS PRIOR TO CURTAIN. The representative should notify the Box Office Manager at this time if you will be taking a cash advance (if applicable). This person must be available to the Box Office Manager at a moment's notice and must have the authority to handle problems with consigned seats and to authorize emergency comps.

The box office will remain open until one half hour past the SCHEDULED curtain time. If you require extra box office service for a second act, marathon, etc., you must notify the box office NO LESS than TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR SHOW.

The Box Office Manager will have sales reports ready to be signed 30 to 45 minutes past the SCHEDULED curtain time. You must have a representative come to the box office in the main lobby AT THAT TIME to sign these reports. The Box Office Manager will not wait for an intermission or for someone to become available. The designated person must have the authority to sign sales reports, accept a cash advance (if applicable) and receive your copies of the reports.
