Astrograss' spirited mix of bluegrass, folk music and humor makes for a show you can't take your eyes or ears off of. Dance contests, fiddle hoedowns (and throwdowns), and lots of audience participation makes for a foot stompin' good time, unlike anything this side of the Mason-Dixon line!

Selected Artists-in-Residence will perform excerpts from Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi. Arias and scenes from various operas will be performed, as well.

The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra goes Carioca features guest Music Director Cliff Korman, and friends. The evening will be a celebration of the Samba, the Bossa Nova, and other Afro Brazilian rhythms. We will explore the genius of Hermeto Pascoal and feature special guests Vanderlei Pereira and Paul Lieberman, amongst many others.

Set in the 16th Century in and around Mantua. Rigoletto, born with a humpback, becomes a court jester. Although he is welcomed at court, he is not viewed as being an equal because of his deformity. In secret, he married a woman, who died giving birth to his daughter Gilda. He has hidden Gilda away, fearing that if she is found, the court would try to do her harm.
